Angel Hair Pasta with Garlic and Basil

INGREDIENTS

2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil

2 Tbsp butter

1 (8oz) pkg Palmini angel hair pasta

1 (12oz) container cherry tomatoes, halved

1 Tbsp fresh garlic, minced

1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped, more for garnish

1/4 cup fresh parmesan cheese, grated, more for garnish

Salt, to taste 

Pepper, to taste

Red pepper flakes, to taste


HOW TO MAKE

-Put the olive oil and butter in a large pan over medium heat.

-After the butter has melted, sauté tomatoes for 5-7 minutes, until they soften and begin to wrinkle.

-While sautéing tomatoes, rinse Palmini and set aside.

-Stir in the garlic, and cook for 1 minute.

-Add Palmini, basil, and Parmesan to pan, and stir to combine.

-Taste for salt/pepper adjustments.

-Garish with preferred toppings.
