If you love fried ravioli, you’ve gotta try this cleaned up, gluten-free air fryer version! They’re crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and make for a perfect addition to any party. Just make sure you put some on your plate quick, they never last long!
SIDE NOTE: Cook times may vary depending on type of air fryer you have. I have a Cosori.
INGREDIENTS
2 pkgs frozen gluten free ravioli (I use Cappello's Five Cheese)
2 eggs
1 cup gluten-free bread crumbs
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/4 cup fresh parmesan, grated (more for topping)
Avocado oil cooking spray
Sprinkle fresh parsley, chopped (for topping)
Marinara sauce (for dipping)
Optional: small lemon squeeze on top
HOW TO MAKE
-Preheat air fryer to 400.
-Place two medium sized bowls side by side. -Put eggs in one bowl and beat with a fork.
-In the other bowl, combine breadcrumbs, Italian seasoning, and parmesan. Whisk to mix.
-Dip each piece of ravioli into the eggs then the breadcrumbs, making sure it’s completely coated on both sides.
-Place each breaded ravioli into the air fryer in one single layer. You’ll have to work in batches.
-Spray each piece lightly with avocado oil cooking spray.
-Cook for 7 mins. at 400 degrees.
-Turn over each piece of ravioli and spray the with avocado oil cooking spray.
-Cook for 5 more mins. at 400 degrees.
-Remove from the air fryer, and place on a serving dish.
-Sprinkle with fresh shredded parmesan cheese, fresh parsley, and a lemon squeeze.
-Enjoy while warm with marinara.
