SIDE NOTE: Gluten-free noodles can stick together, so make sure to occasionally separate them while cooking. I just use a fork.

INGREDIENTS
1 (12oz) box gluten-free spaghetti noodles
FOR THE MEAT SAUCE:
1/2 lb ground beef
1/2 lb ground Italian sausage
1 cup yellow onion, diced
1 Tbsp Italian seasoning
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 (24oz) jarred marinara sauce
FOR THE ALFREDO:
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 Tbsp fresh garlic, minced
2 cups heavy cream
2 cups Parmesan cheese, shredded
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
FOR THE TOPPING:
3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
2 Tbsp Parmesan cheese, shredded
2 tsp fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish
HOW TO MAKE
-Preheat the oven to 350, and spray a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
-Cook spaghetti noodles to al dente according to package directions. Once done, drain, and set aside.
-In a large skillet over medium heat, add ground beef, Italian sausage, and onion.
-Break up the meat, and cook until no longer pink.
-Add in garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Stir to coat meat.
-Drain any excess grease then stir in marinara sauce. Reduce the heat to low, and simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
-While the meat sauce simmers, make the alfredo sauce. In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter.
-Add garlic, stir, and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
-Stir in heavy cream, 2 cups Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.
-Cook until the cheese has melted and the sauce thickens slightly, about 5 minutes.
-Remove from heat.
-Add the cooked spaghetti to the alfredo sauce, and stir until the noodles are coated.
-Pour the alfredo noodle mixture into the baking dish. Spread evenly.
-Add the meat sauce on top of the alfredo noodles. Spread evenly.
-Sprinkle mozzarella cheese and 2 Tbsp Parmesan cheese evenly over the top.
-Bake, uncovered, for 15 minutes until the cheese is melted.
-Broil on high for 1-2 minutes to slightly char the cheese.
-Garnish with fresh parsley.
-Enjoy!
