Are you a snack person? I sure am! These savory pecans are a little sweet, a little spicy, and perfect for snacking. While they’re super easy to make, they are full of flavor!
SIDE NOTE: You can dial up or down the sweet and spicy level by adjusting the cayenne pepper and coconut sugar.
INGREDIENTS
1 lb pecan halves, raw
4 Tbsp butter, melted (I use @kerrygoldusa unsalted)
2 Tbsp pure organic maple syrup
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp coconut sugar
1 tsp sea salt
HOW TO MAKE
-Preheat oven to 300.
-In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, syrup, and spices.
-Add pecans, and toss until well coated.-Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper, and spread the pecans out in a single layer.-Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until nuts are toasted and aromatic. Toss nuts halfway through roasting.-Let cool completely before serving.
